WooYoo Medical Aesthetics was honored to participate as a featured speaker at The Aesthetic Show 2026, held at Wynn Las Vegas from June 25 through June 28.

The Aesthetic Show is a major multidisciplinary educational meeting that brings together physicians, nurse practitioners, medical professionals, researchers, technology companies, and leaders from across the aesthetic industry. Its program covers nonsurgical and minimally invasive treatments, dermatologic and cosmetic procedures, regenerative aesthetics, emerging technologies, and practice development. The meeting also offers accredited continuing medical education and features faculty recognized for both clinical knowledge and practical experience.

Being invited to speak at an event of this scale was especially meaningful because the invitation reflected something we have been building for years: extensive, real-world experience with XTherma, known as 10THERMA in Korea.

According to recognition provided by BENEV, WooYoo Medical Aesthetics became the highest-volume XTherma provider in the United States. That clinical volume—and the techniques refined through it—became the foundation of our presentation at The Aesthetic Show.

From Early Adoption to the Highest XTherma Treatment Volume in the United States

WooYoo Medical Aesthetics was among the earliest U.S. practices to adopt XTherma, introducing the technology before it became widely available across the American medical-aesthetics market.

At that time, many U.S. patients and providers were unfamiliar with the platform. Today, interest has expanded rapidly, and a growing number of med spas and aesthetic practices are adding XTherma as demand increases for effective, nonsurgical skin-tightening treatments.

For Ellie Woo, NP, however, XTherma was not a newly discovered technology.

She has worked with the platform—marketed as 10THERMA in Korea—for more than three years. That experience began before its broader expansion in the United States and provided the opportunity to understand how treatment outcomes can change according to patient anatomy, skin thickness, treatment density, energy selection, shot placement, and provider technique.

This long-term experience is one of the reasons WooYoo was able to establish such a substantial U.S. treatment volume so early.

Why XTherma Became Our Preferred Radiofrequency Skin-Tightening Treatment

There are now many radiofrequency devices available for nonsurgical tightening. Although the device itself matters, the most important consideration is whether it can deliver consistent thermal energy to the appropriate tissue while maintaining patient comfort and safety.

After using multiple types of energy-based tightening technology, Ellie Woo developed a strong preference for XTherma because of the skin-tightening response she observed in clinical practice.

“I have used 10THERMA, known as XTherma in the United States, for more than three years. Among the radiofrequency tightening technologies I have worked with, it has consistently been my preferred treatment for patients whose primary goal is visible skin tightening.”

At WooYoo, XTherma is frequently selected for patients concerned about:

  • Lower-face laxity

  • Early jowling

  • Reduced jawline definition

  • Loose or crepey neck skin

  • General loss of facial firmness

  • Patients seeking tightening without surgery or extended downtime

The goal is not to create an artificial or overtreated appearance. Instead, treatment is customized to support a firmer, smoother, and more naturally defined facial contour.

Results vary according to age, anatomy, baseline laxity, treatment settings, and individual collagen response. No energy-based procedure produces identical outcomes for every patient, which is why careful assessment and customized treatment planning remain essential.

The Aesthetic Show: A National Stage for Aesthetic Medicine

The Aesthetic Show is more than a conventional trade exhibition. It is designed as an interdisciplinary educational environment where medical-aesthetics professionals can learn about new devices, injectable treatments, regenerative technologies, procedural techniques, and clinical protocols.

The 2026 meeting took place over four days at Wynn Las Vegas and included formal educational sessions, expert faculty presentations, exhibitor demonstrations, and opportunities for hands-on and advanced training. The event describes its audience as a broad cross-section of medical-aesthetics professionals and emphasizes education across surgical, nonsurgical, and minimally invasive treatments.

Speaking in this setting meant presenting in front of an audience that already understood aesthetic technology. The purpose was not simply to introduce XTherma, but to explain what happens when a provider performs the treatment repeatedly, studies patient response, adjusts technique, and develops protocols beyond basic device training.

Sharing Techniques Developed Through High Treatment Volume

Our presentation centered on a practical clinical question:

As the highest-volume XTherma provider in the country, what does the treatment deliver—and why do patients continue to rebook?

The lecture was based on actual clinical experience rather than a general overview of radiofrequency technology.

Topics included:

  • How to select appropriate XTherma candidates

  • How facial anatomy influences treatment planning

  • How treatment density and shot distribution may affect outcomes

  • How to customize treatment for the lower face, jawline, and neck

  • How to balance effective energy delivery with patient comfort

  • How to set realistic expectations for gradual collagen remodeling

  • Why standardized protocols may not be ideal for every face

  • How provider technique can influence treatment consistency

  • Why some patients return for maintenance or additional sessions

High treatment volume provides a perspective that cannot be developed through device ownership alone. It allows a provider to recognize patterns across different ages, skin thicknesses, facial structures, degrees of laxity, and treatment histories.

Over time, those repeated observations become a refined clinical method.

Physicians and Providers Wanted to Learn Our Approach

One of the most rewarding parts of the experience was the response from other medical professionals.

Following the presentation, physicians and aesthetic providers approached Ellie Woo with detailed questions about treatment technique, protocol design, energy selection, and shot placement. The interest was not limited to the device itself; attendees wanted to understand the clinical decisions behind the results.

Several providers expressed a desire to learn the WooYoo treatment approach in greater depth. We also received inquiries about whether our procedural videos could be used as educational resources for future provider training.

That response was especially meaningful.

WooYoo began as a practice focused on delivering excellent outcomes to individual patients. Being asked to contribute treatment footage and technical guidance for physician education showed that the experience accumulated in our clinic could also help other providers improve their understanding of XTherma.

It marked a transition from being an early adopter to becoming a resource for the broader aesthetic community.

Why Technique Matters as Much as Technology

A common misconception in aesthetic medicine is that purchasing an advanced device automatically produces advanced results.

It does not.

Energy-based treatments are highly dependent on:

  • Patient selection

  • Accurate anatomical assessment

  • Treatment mapping

  • Energy parameters

  • Shot distribution

  • Coverage density

  • Avoidance of sensitive structures

  • Provider consistency

  • Post-treatment expectations and follow-up

Two clinics may own the same device yet deliver noticeably different treatment experiences and outcomes.

This is why treatment volume matters. Performing a procedure repeatedly provides opportunities to evaluate results, identify patterns, refine protocols, and understand which patients are most likely to benefit.

At WooYoo Medical Aesthetics, our XTherma technique has developed through more than three years of experience and extensive treatment volume—not from following a single preset protocol.

The Role of BENEV in Bringing Innovation and Education Together

We are grateful to BENEV for creating this opportunity and for recognizing WooYoo’s clinical experience.

BENEV is a California-based, U.S. FDA-registered company serving the global medical-aesthetics market. Its portfolio includes cosmeceutical, regenerative, restorative, biostimulatory, and medical-device offerings, and the company describes its mission as providing scientifically advanced, result-focused products and technologies to aesthetic professionals.

BENEV’s involvement at The Aesthetic Show brought together clinicians from different areas of aesthetic medicine, including dermatology, facial aesthetics, regenerative medicine, and device-based treatment.

The panel created an opportunity to discuss not only individual products, but a broader question facing modern aesthetic medicine:

How can intelligent technology, regenerative concepts, and clinical experience be combined without compromising safety or treatment standards?

We appreciate BENEV for highlighting providers based on real clinical experience and for giving WooYoo a national platform to share what we have learned.

Learning Alongside Leading Aesthetic Physicians

The program included respected physicians and aesthetic experts with backgrounds in dermatology, cosmetic medicine, facial aesthetics, and regenerative treatments.

Participating alongside experienced medical faculty made the occasion especially valuable. It allowed for an exchange of perspectives between different specialties and showed that meaningful aesthetic education is not defined by title alone—it is strengthened by measurable experience, thoughtful observation, and the willingness to share reproducible clinical knowledge.

For WooYoo, being included in this group confirmed that the practical knowledge developed through high-volume treatment has value beyond our own clinic.

What Makes Patients Continue to Choose XTherma?

Patients do not return simply because a treatment is new.

They return when the experience is manageable, the treatment fits their goals, and they feel that the results justify continuing their care.

In our practice, patients often choose XTherma because they are looking for:

  • Nonsurgical skin tightening

  • Improved jawline and lower-face definition

  • A treatment that does not require incisions

  • Minimal interruption to everyday activities

  • Gradual, natural-looking improvement

  • A treatment plan personalized to their anatomy

  • A provider with extensive experience using the technology

Some patients select XTherma as a standalone tightening treatment. Others receive it as part of a broader plan that may incorporate ultrasound lifting, injectables, collagen-stimulating treatments, or skin-quality procedures.

The correct plan depends on the individual. XTherma is not intended to replace surgery in patients with advanced laxity, and it should not be presented as appropriate for everyone.

Our role is to determine when it is likely to provide meaningful benefit—and when another approach may be more appropriate.

Bringing National-Level Education Back to Our Los Angeles Patients

Speaking at The Aesthetic Show was an important professional milestone, but the ultimate purpose of continuing education is to improve patient care.

Every discussion with another provider, every clinical question, and every opportunity to review treatment outcomes helps us refine how we practice.

Patients at WooYoo Medical Aesthetics benefit from:

  • More than three years of hands-on XTherma and 10THERMA experience

  • Recognition by BENEV for the highest XTherma treatment volume in the United States

  • Early U.S. adoption of the technology

  • Customized treatment mapping rather than a one-size-fits-all protocol

  • Technique refined through extensive clinical repetition

  • Ongoing participation in national aesthetic education

  • A commitment to safety, natural-looking results, and honest patient selection

Our goal is not simply to offer the newest equipment.

Our goal is to understand a technology deeply enough to use it responsibly, consistently, and effectively.

From Early Adopter to National XTherma Educator

When WooYoo first introduced XTherma in the United States, the technology was still unfamiliar to much of the American market.

Since then, interest has grown considerably, and more aesthetic practices are adopting the platform. We are proud to have contributed to that growth from an early stage—not only by treating patients, but by sharing clinical experience with other providers.

Being recognized as the highest-volume XTherma provider in the country and invited to speak at The Aesthetic Show represents an important chapter in that journey.

What began as confidence in a technology developed into thousands of treatment decisions, refined clinical methods, national recognition, and opportunities to educate fellow medical professionals.

Thank You to BENEV and The Aesthetic Show
